Sanitatinos

Sanitation means cleanliness. It is the system of taking dirty water and other waste products away from houses in order to protect people's health. Sanitation is the symbol and sign of a healthy civilization. Therefore, sanitation and health are two sides of a coin. A hygienic society without sanitation is impossible. The scope of hygiene includes all the factors like sanitation, healthy habit, healthy food, proper sleep and rest. 
The places where we live, eat, sleep, study and play daily must be healthy for our good health. We will become sick if we drink polluted water and breathe in polluted air. Hence, the arrangement of all these systems like drainage, sewage and disposal helps a community to remain free from dirt and infection.

Some rules of personal hygiene:
 
A community cannot be clean and healthy unless the individuals in it are clean and healthy. The cleanliness of the body and clothes of an individual is called personal hygiene. We should follow the rules of personal hygiene for our good health.

The rules of personal hygiene are:

Ø    We should take bath every day. It keeps our body neat       and  clean.  
Ø      We should wash our hands regularly after play and work.    This does not allow the germs to spread.
Ø           We should wash our hands with soap and water before and after meals, and after using toilet. It protect us from diseases.
Ø           We should trim our nails every week.
Ø           We should brush our teeth twice a day to keep them strong, clean and bright.
Ø           We should wash our clothes regularly to make them germ-free.
Ø           We should use oil and comb our hair every day to keep it neat and clean.
Ø          We should keep our things like hair oil, clothes, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo etc. at right places.
